India has temporarily suspended all the visas and e-visas granted on or before March 11 to nationals of 3 more coronavirus-affected countries — France, Germany and Spain.
Special Secretary of the Ministry of Health Sanjeev Kumar has said that the e-visas and existing visas of citizens of France, Germany and Spain, as well as citizens of Italy, Iran, Republic of Korea, Japan and China, be suspended with immediate effect.

The special secretary said that all passengers passing through China, Hong Kong, Republic of Korea, Japan, Italy, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Iran, France, Spain and Germany should spend 14 days from the date of their arrival in the special ward.
The Government of India has issued information for travellers saying that travellers who have travelled to Italy and Korea are now keen to enter India. They are required to have coronaviruses (COVID-19) tested by laboratories authorized by the health authorities of those countries. They will be able to enter India only if their report comes out negative after investigation.
