Divyesh Khunt – My Experience with FINTIBA.

Hi, I am Divyesh Khunt and in this blog post, I am sharing my experience to open a Block Account with Fintiba. Before we progress, First I would like to say:

There are many available options for opening Block account.

1. Kotak Bank
2. Deutsche Bank
3. Fintiba
4. Coracle
5. x–petrio

Selection depends on individual with their priorities and suitable options.

Today, I (Divyesh Khunt) am going to share my experience with Fintiba block account.

1) visit the official link of Fintiba and read everything. You will come to know about how is everything organized and different packages provided by Fintiba.

2) I had selected only block account, which comes under FINTIBA BASIC because what I think is, if you go for FINTIBA PLUS package, it will cost you much more. What I suggest is go for the Fintiba block account and you can select AOK or TK as health insurance. It’s your choice in the end.

3) once you select what you want, the next step is REGISTRATION. where you need to provide personal details (please mention details as per passport). Be very clear for what to enter, because you will get BLOCKING CONFIRMATION as per the details you mentioned during registration. (we can also change the details afterwards by requesting them by email, but it may take 3-4 working days) so it’s better to be precise with information you provide.

During the registration process, I came across confusion’s for what to enter in the required fields. What you can do is, ask your friends or person who has processed with FINTIBA (though it’s very easy, it happens some time.. so it‘s better to ask, unless we are clear).

4) ones you complete your entire registration with Fintiba, you will get a mail in registered Email address. There will be your password for online fintiba login.

Now, you just have to log in to fintiba and everything will be done step by step. They will ask for documents, you have to upload it and you will get notifications for each thing you do.

Once you get VISA, you need to update it.

5) After arriving here, you have to login to fintiba, and update the details like address of yours, German Mobile number, etc,(once you have contract of accommodation and your own private german number).

The most important thing is the GERMAN BANK ACCOUNT (most of the students prefer DEUTSCH BANK), but ultimately it’s your decision.

Note: Before finalizing any German bank, please have a look at their terms and conditions and privacy policy. Because i came to know that students are facing problems during VISA EXTENSION, so please be careful with it.

Once you are done with opening an account, the next step is again updating the details in fintiba i.e IBAN NUMBER, HOUSE ADDRESS PROOF.

Done with it! You are very close to get your money soon. Be happy 😃😃

6) Next move is, download 2-LEGITIMATION DOCUMENTS from fintiba and go to nearby DEUTSCH POST/POST BANK or near by post service and show them the documents printout. They will understand everything and they will complete some formalities. (On the documents you downloaded, everything is written very clear about what to do). There will be no charges for post, its totally free.

7) yehhh!! Congratulations! You have completed the process, now every month you will get 715/- from fintiba, and you will get your first pay within 2-3 days in Deutsch bank.
